Well, to say this session was long over due would be an understatement! I(Brandon) had been wanting to do a session like this for some time now, and after realizing it had been WAY too long since Austin’s last session, I knew she would be the perfect little model(as she always is) to help me create my vision. Like always, we had a blast and created some AWESOME images! Dallas(Austin’s horse) tried to be stubborn a couple times, but being the tough country girl Austin is, she kept him in line. Always looking forward to the next session!
Well we hope everyone was able to get out there last night and witness some meteors flying across the sky! Unfortunately for us, we only saw ONE…not sure what happened there. Even though the night was a bust, we were able to get a couple really nice images and enjoyed getting to cuddle together under a blanket and stare up at that amazing sky <3! Brandon + Holly
What can I say, Brookyln was such a fun and easy senior to photograph. She was very laid back and had an AWESOME natural smile, so I really didn’t have to work hard at all that day I am glad she decided to bring her prom dress along too , as I love photographing dresses(wedding or prom) in urban settings. For her last location, we decided to take a drive out to the country and grab some beautiful images with that warm evening light. We even had a surprise visitor before we left, in the form of a snake, who must also enjoy that warm and golden light as much as me! We wish you nothing but the best and much success in your future, Brooklyn! Brandon+Holly
While hammering back the coffee, working on our website and checking out search engine rankings late last night, I became inspired. One person inspired me to make a little time for myself and do what I really love doing. This person would be Roy Green. Roy has some AMAZING photography out there and alot of great images that show how beautiful our area really is and why we should be proud to call it home! So…I decided to get out this evening and head down by the Historic Otway Covered Bridge. They are currently doing construction on the bridge, so I figured this would be a great chance to get some shots of the bridge’s structure. Heck, I even decided to jump in a few photos too!
Hey everyone! So…I recently got on a kick of building a few custom teepees for some themed shoots I had coming up. After building this little A-frame teepee, I realized I needed a super cute little model for a fun shoot. Little Mr. Waylon’s momma contacted me, and said he would be perfect for what I needed….and boy was she right! We decided to head out to a little part of Shawnee Forest and get this shoot underway. He was SO much fun to work with, and he even brought his best friend along too(Mr. Sock Monkey). Two best pals, out in the big woods, not a care in the world I seriously could have sat there and photographed him all day. He has another shoot coming up in several months and I am SUPER excited to work with him again!
Hey moms, we know how busy all of you are and the last thing you think about is getting in front of the camera. It is also easy to forget how important it is to be in the photographs with your babies and to be a part of the overall session experience. This is definitely something you will be thankful you did and your kids will have these amazing images to cherish their whole life.
